Where were his cognitive difficulties in all of the decisions this monster made on July 23, 2007? He followed a family home to see exactly where they lived, called his partner in crime another pure animal, and they both plotted exactly what they were going to do to this innocent family.

He has beaten, sexually assaulted, robbed, murdered, and actually took disturbing photos of his victims. It doesn't sound to me like this trash has any cognitive difficulties. The only difficulties this loser has is a sickness called "I am pure evil" and I must be destroyed quickly, and take my loser partner in crime with me!

I can't even believe Steven Hayes is still alive. Dig a hole, strip them bare, put a bullet in their little pea brains, and let the birds pick on them. They are not worth the money it is going to cost to feed them, clothe them, and keep a cell over their unworthy heads. Case closed. Next.....

It is so unusual how Joshua Komisarjevsky's so called "cognitive difficulties" didn't magically appear when he was plotting this gruesome attack against this innocent family and when he was watching Michaela and Jennifer in Stop and Shop. This imaginary illness he has only magically appeared when it was time to decide whether or not he should burn this family alive. I hope the judge experiences "cognitive difficulties" when the death penalty verdict is decided.

Shame on the defense for defending this trash and making excuses for his inhumane behavior. I truly do not know how they were able to defend him and still sleep at night. I guess money does talk, and obviously a whole bunch of bull$hit does walk. Shame on you. I believe that what comes around goes around. Do you have wives and children? God sees everything and he sure doesn't like ugly.

In June 2011 there were UK news reports that the Home Office is considering the addition of offenders’ photographs to local crime maps. The government, confirmed this news in the the Sunday Times newspaper and the Minister for Policing and Justice, the Right Honourable Nick Herbert is alleged to have told The Sunday Times that the plan was to increase transparency and accountability. The article cited what it called a ‘trailblazing project’ in West Yorkshire which identifies criminals; in other words, the government has undertaken a pilot study of criminals in West Yorkshire. The news reports state (because they are still online and therefore in the present tense), that the Policing and Criminal Justice Crime Minister Nick Herbert is alleged to have said:
‘We want to build on the success of the police.uk crime mapping website by adding more information about how offences are actually dealt with in the criminal justice system. A trailblazing project is being run by West Yorkshire police to map justice outcomes. We are determined to increase transparency and enable the public to hold the justice system to account.’
The crime maps for England and Wales were launched onto the Internet in February 2011 and allow users to see which offences have been reported in their local streets by entering a postcode or street name.
It was reported that Ms. Shami Chakrabarti, director of the activist organisation ‘Liberty’ dismissed the Home Office plan as ‘a macho piece of posturing’, missing the golden opportunity to throw mud in their face since she could have cited the still important case of Peck v United Kingdom [2003] 36 EHRR 41, in which decision the European Court of Human Rights stated that:
‘the disclosure of footage had resulted in Mr Peck’s actions being observed to an extent far exceeding any exposure to a passer-by or to a security observation and to an extent surpassing that which the applicant could have foreseen. Accordingly, the disclosure by the Council of that footage (even though it was allowed by section 163 Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994) had resulted in a serious interference with the applicant’s right to respect for private life.’
With regard to any defence of ‘necessity’ the Court stressed that:
‘…such disclosure without the consent of the individual called for the most careful scrutiny by the European Court and could only be justified by an overriding requirement in the public interest.’
The mapping news report alleges that Chakrabarti told BBC One's The Andrew Marr Show that it was interesting that in ‘one of the worst recessions this country has ever faced, everybody - opposition and government - [is] posturing on law and order, often with relatively minor tweaks.’
Furthermore, since information on the crime map website is set out to prevent victims from being identified, identifying the alleged offenders may cause victims to also be identified. Yet again, should such an action be taken (of placing offenders’ photos online, where the whole world may view them, may trigger unforseeable litigation, not to mention that this flies in the face of government posturing to ‘restorative justice’.

In this regard, she is one hundred percent correct. It has not gone unnoticed that this government has busied itself with passing into law nearly one hundred titbits of minor amendments, classified mostly as statutes and for the general public not ‘in the know’, the wool has been pulled over their eyes into thinking how very wonderful and hard-working these new incumbents are.
Almost all of these so-called statutes could have been aggregated into one single, corrective and consolidating statute. It reminds me of cleaning personnel who feel compelled to move all one’s possessions and rearrange elsewhere because the house appears different and they appear to have done their job.
